This is a one day condensed course on understanding the complex nature of domestic abuse. This course is aimed at practioners who provide a service and may come across women who disclose domestic abuse. It will allow staff to respond professionally and appropriately when dealing with disclosure. In addition, this course will equip the participant with the practical options available to women experiencing domestic abuse, ensuring the woman experiencing the abuse is taken seriously and signposted accordingly.
